However when you currently click and view a profile, the POF server knows the postal code/city of both members so having a link that dynamically tied the two posted cities or postal codes into a driving route plan, would be very useful. How about you just give step-by-step directions to a person's house on their profile, better yet, list everyone's full name and contact information for all to see, just to make it easier to set up a date?!?If you don't know how close a location is to your own, chances are it's far away.
I like how "wheresgeorge.com" does its mapping feature when your bill is re-entered by someone else, which would work here also. For me, I do not know all the 10,000 or so subburbs around here and am switching over to Google maps quite often.
It pops up a map with a line drawn between the two cities. Sometimes I don't come back to POF, right away or at all, I end up staying and googleing something else around that area.$0.02Rob Doesn't the "must live within x-miles" contact restriction option fulfill this already, OP?

Why do you need to know EXACTLY where someone is located in order to set up a date? Knowing their general location should be plenty of information -- for those who just list a state as their location, how about you just email them and ask where they live?!?
